Fender Custom Shop 57 Total Tone Strat

Wednesday, December 16th, 2009

This Fender Custom Shop 57 Stratocaster is one of our exclusive Total Tone series of guitars. The Total Tone Stratocaster is built to 57 specs with some unique PGS inspired features such as Abigail Ybarra hand-wound pickups, larger bridge block with increased mass, staggered tuning machines, and a 1 piece quarter-sawn maple neck in the 1957 “soft V” shape. This Fender Custom Shop Strat is a heavy relic meaning it has been lovingly beat up by the Custom Shop boys, then they did it again for a guitar that looks, plays, and feels like it’s been played for decades. The “soft V” shaped neck is fashioned after the standard neck shape in 1957 and the quarter-sawn handpicked wood adds stability and resonance. Abigail Ybarra is reknowned for the pickups she wound for Fender Custom Shop. We had her hand-wind all the pickups for the Total Tone series and sign them as well for the best possible tone we could come up with. The Fender Custom Shop 57 Stratocaster from our exclusive Total Tone series is not a guitar to miss out on. These are a limited run and when they’re gone, they’re gone folks

Diamond Tremolo

Wednesday, December 16th, 2009

The all new Diamond Tremolo is here! This pedal features a microprocessor control unit with an all analog signal path. This provides ultimate flexibility and control while not ever converting the signal to digital. The Diamond Tremolo circuit is a variable resistance circuit based on a Vactrol opto-isolator just like an old tube amp tremolo circuit. It also features the addition of a JFET based “chop” circuit for machine gun staccato and helicopter chops. The Diamond Tremolo has your basic control functions you would expect such as Speed and Depth as well as a waveform switch for going between sine, triangle, square, and chop. The LED also changes color with waveforms so you know your settings at a glance. The Diamond Tremolo also features a Volume control to match the level of your amplifier. The Tap Tempo function is another unique feature of the Diamond Tremolo. The Tap control functions as a weighted average tempo set or, if held down, it also doubles the speed of the tremolo that is already set.

Blackout Effectors Musket Fuzz Pedal

Wednesday, December 16th, 2009

The Blackout Effectors Musket Fuzz Pedal is not just a clone of a vintage fuzz pedal. True, the Musket Fuzz is akin to the vintage muffy fuzz that we all know and love but that’s where the similarity ends. This 4 stage fuzz pedal gives you complete control over the tone, quality, and clarity of your fuzz. The Pre control basically adds a clean boost on top of the fuzz circuit for all kinds of new weirdness while the Fuzz control interacts with it to not only control amount of fuzz but also sustain and compression. Here’s where it gets fun, the Mids knob lets you control the tonal flavor of the Musket from severly scooped up to completely flat and everything in between. The ability to adjust the mids brings a whole new world to the fuzz pedal and will make sure that you are never buried in the mix again. There is also a Tone control for adjusting your, well, tone! Last but not least, Blackout Effectors has seen fit to add another sweet control to the Musket, a Focus knob. This is the control that makes the Musket Fuzz pedal what it is. The Focus knob is a pre-fuzz low end control that allows the Musket to not only produce vintage fuzz but to also get a more modern twist and compete with distortion pedals for a spot on a metal player’s pedal board.
