The range pf sounds this thing can put out is amazing. The rate is especially versatile, it gets soooo slow! This is just one of those pedals you click on and you feel like every sound that comes out is sweet. I mean very sweet. I don't use vibrato switch much, so I cant comment on that part of it, but great, well crafted phase tones. (Posted on 6/3/13)Value Quality Price

Earthquaker Devices Grand Orbiter Phase Machine
The Earthquaker Devices Grand Orbiter Phase Machine sets a new standard for ultra-cool phase modulation. This 4 stage OTA based phaser has a circuit that is somewhat based on the classic Ross Phaser and the DOD 490. The Grand Orbiter gives you incredible control over this effect, with two LFO speeds with a superb range - either utterly dead slow to super fast speeds. With some tweaking of the controls and the dry/kill switch you can also get some cool vibe/vibrato effects, too. Very nice. The Rate control affects the speed of the LFO, which is exceptionally wide with the two mode switch. The Depth controls the amount of phase shift along with the dry signal, rather than how the LFO shifts its filters. This unique control allows you to create especially subtle pseudo stage 2 effects through a full on effect. Resonance controls the regeneration, which creates an intense or subtle phase effect, and the Sweep controls the frequency range. These two controls have a wide range, allowing you to add just a touch of this subtle and warm phase effect to completely sick and over-the-top phasing that is hallucinogenic in its character. The Earthquaker Devices Grand Orbiter Phase Machine is yet another masterful creation that will provide rich and organic tones to your rig.

The Earthquaker Devices Grand Orbiter, like other Earthquaker Devices, combines quality components, true bypass, and rich organic tone all in one brilliant effect. The Grand Orbiter Phase Machine will have you sweeping and swooshing through the cosmos, or just adding enough waver and wave to your tone to shine through the mix. This is an truly versatile phase pedal - most likely the only one you'll ever need due to its diverse array of phase effects.
Earthquaker Devices Grand Orbiter Phase Machine Features:
- Depth: Controls the amount of phase effect mixed with dry signal. When the "dry" switch is off, keep the Depth control at max
- Rate: Controls speed of LFO
- Sweep: Controls the Frequency Range
- Resonance: Controls the regeneration of the phasing
- Rate 1+2: Changes range of the speed control. 1 = slow, 2 = faster
- Dry: Cuts the dry signal to create vibe/vibrato effect depending on the setting of the other controls. Create vibrato by turning the resonance.

Most orders shipping within the US will ship USPS Priority Mail with delivery confirmation. Standard delivery time is 2-3 days. An automated email with a a delivery confirmation number will be sent. This number may be entered at USPS.com, however, the Priority Mail service does not offer step by step tracking. It will only update once the item has been delivered.
Most orders shipping outside the US will ship USPS Express International. The estimated deilvery time for international orders is 3-5 days. All international orders will ship with a tracking number. An automated email with tracking details will be sent.
Larger items such as amplifiers and guitars may be shipped via UPS Ground service in the US and UPS World-Wide Expedited service for international orders. An automated email with tracking information will be sent to the recipient.All UPS shipments are sent with Signature Requirement unless requested otherwise by customer prior to shipment.Some USPS ships with a SIgnature Requirement as well. If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase you may return it for a full refund of the original purchase price. We offer a 60-day return policy on all pedals. We ask that you please return the product in the original product packaging along with all included materials (manual, warranty card, all accessories) and in the original condition that it was received. Pedals returned in undesirable condition (scratched, nicked, or modified) may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 25% of the purchase price. We must receive the product within 60 days of you receiving it. All guitar and amplifier purchases must be returned within 15 days of receiving the unit with all original packaging and materials.
Please pack carefully. Do not attach a label to manufacturer’s box. Use a shipping box for packing your return. You may choose any shipping service you like to return the package to us. We strongly recommend some sort of tracking or delivery confirmation and insurance. Lost packages happen; this will help protect you from loss.
Returns are processed twice a week, usually within 72 hours of receiving them. Refunds will be issued to the credit card or Paypal account used for purchase. Please keep in mind that credit card refunds can take up to 10 business days to post on the account once the refund has been processed.
