The Fender Telecaster has been in production for nearly 60 years. As the first mass produced solid-body guitars, it has been favored by a diverse group of musicians for numerous musical styles, and has graced countless recordings. Now Fender introduces the USA made Fender American Special Telecaster for a new decade, combining traditional features with modern appointments that make it a truly extraordinary version of this classic solidbody. The Fender American Special Telecaster provides the discriminating Tele player with an exceptional instrument at an unmatched value. For under $900, this Telecaster delivers amazing tone and value in a USA crafted instrument that is sure to please Tele traditionalists and newcomers alike. The Fender American Special Telecaster has an alder body with a gloss urethane finish that allows for a true resonance and sparkle from its classic tonewood. Choose either 3 tone sunburst or Olympic white. The necks are maple with a 9.5" radius, 22 jumbo frets, and a satin finish, providing outstanding playability. Bend big and often on these 22 jumbo frets without worry of fretting out. This neck was meant to be played, and played hard. Add a 70's styling decal, and a black 3 ply pickguard, and you have a classic fusion of playability and style. The pickups are two Texas Special alnico 5 single coils, known for their higher output and midrange presence. The bridge pickup has staggered magnets, and a copper plated steel bottom plate for increased output. The neck pickup has a nickel-silver cover that is clear and strong. This Telecaster set is standard on select Fender Custom Shop Telecasters, and will provide a rich, traditional, and sweet Telecaster tone. The bridge is an Original Vintage Tele Bridge with 3 brass saddles and a string-through body design. This feature on the American Special Telecaster ensures a rich and resonant tone with plenty of mid range and bass all the while preserving that characteristic Telecaster spank and twang. The switching is traditional 3 way, with a vintage styled barrel tipped switch. The tone circuit is Fender's patented Greasebucket tone circuit, which rolls off the highs without adding bass. This feature is especially useful for Telecaster players who need to use their tone controls to dig deeper into the mix all the while retaining a clarity and presence of their Telecaster tone. All of these features add up to an amazing Telecaster that incorporates the best of vintage and modern stylings. However, all of these features wouldn't add up to much unless the value was present, and indeed the value is inherent in the Fender American Special Telecaster. This USA crafted Telecaster is available for under $800. Most orders shipping within the US will ship USPS Priority Mail with delivery confirmation. Standard delivery time is 2-3 days. An automated email with a a delivery confirmation number will be sent. This number may be entered at USPS.com, however, the Priority Mail service does not offer step by step tracking. It will only update once the item has been delivered.
Most orders shipping outside the US will ship USPS Express International. The estimated deilvery time for international orders is 3-5 days. All international orders will ship with a tracking number. An automated email with tracking details will be sent.
Larger items such as amplifiers and guitars may be shipped via UPS Ground service in the US and UPS World-Wide Expedited service for international orders. An automated email with tracking information will be sent to the recipient.All UPS shipments are sent with Signature Requirement unless requested otherwise by customer prior to shipment.Some USPS ships with a SIgnature Requirement as well. If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase you may return it for a full refund of the original purchase price. We offer a 60-day return policy on all pedals. We ask that you please return the product in the original product packaging along with all included materials (manual, warranty card, all accessories) and in the original condition that it was received. Pedals returned in undesirable condition (scratched, nicked, or modified) may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 25% of the purchase price. We must receive the product within 60 days of you receiving it. All guitar and amplifier purchases must be returned within 15 days of receiving the unit with all original packaging and materials.
Please pack carefully. Do not attach a label to manufacturer’s box. Use a shipping box for packing your return. You may choose any shipping service you like to return the package to us. We strongly recommend some sort of tracking or delivery confirmation and insurance. Lost packages happen; this will help protect you from loss.
Returns are processed twice a week, usually within 72 hours of receiving them. Refunds will be issued to the credit card or Paypal account used for purchase. Please keep in mind that credit card refunds can take up to 10 business days to post on the account once the refund has been processed.

Items returned in undesirable condition (scratched, nicked, or modified) may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 25% of the purchase price. We must receive the product within 60 days of you receiving it for pedals and 15 days of receipt for guitars and amps. All guitar and amplifier purchases must be returned with all original packaging and in original condition. Please do not remove the protective plastic coverings on guitars and amplifiers (where applicable) until you know you are keeping the unit. Also, please be aware of the light finish scratches that may occur when playing a guitar from picks, fingernails, shirt buttons, and belt buckles. These are not acceptable on a return so please be careful.
