WOW. That's the review in a nutshell. This pedal is incredible. I'm not kidding when I say - literally - hours of my life have disappeared because of this pedal. It's like a transformer - it's so many things at once. Yes, it will do the "70's Funk-in-a-box" sound, but it also has some really chewy phaser sounds in it. Frankly, the EQ section alone is almost worth the price (which was the only place I gave it 4 stars - at $230, it's a bit pricey) Even so, I think it's the same EQ circuitry as the Source Audio Programmable EQ, which makes this the pedal the best "value" in Source Audio's line, AFAIC. The pedal is also pretty big, and could easily command half of a smaller pedalboard (especially with a dedicated expression pedal).
But, in light of the higher price, you could quite legitimately take your phaser, your tremolo, your EQ/Boost, and your wah off of your board and just use one of the SIX presets on this one pedal for each sound (provided you hook up an expression pedal for the wah sounds), and still have two left over for killer LFO and Filter effects. A couple other things you might want to know: Yes, it comes with a wall-wart power supply, but it works fine powered by a OneSpot or Godlyke Powerall. I've not had occasion to use the MIDI or HotHand stuff, but they're cool features. If you want to change the LFO waveform, you have to do that in the backpage menu (which is super easy - just hit the Mod Source and Tap Tempo buttons at the same time, and the "right" button for EQ band until it gets to the far right. Then spin the encoder wheel under the EQ and you're changing wave forms. Simple!).
The build quality on this guy is crazy good. The switches feel smooth, but very solid. Nothing rattles or feels flimsy. The jacks make a very solid connection (can I get an "Amen" for top-mounted jacks on a huge pedal?! Digitech Whammy DT, I'm looking at you). Even though it's an expensive pedal, for what it does, and how flexible it is, and good it sounds, I think this is one of the best values on the market for sonic adventurers. Most orders shipping within the US will ship USPS Priority Mail with delivery confirmation. Standard delivery time is 2-3 days. An automated email with a a delivery confirmation number will be sent. This number may be entered at USPS.com, however, the Priority Mail service does not offer step by step tracking. It will only update once the item has been delivered.
Most orders shipping outside the US will ship USPS Express International. The estimated deilvery time for international orders is 3-5 days. All international orders will ship with a tracking number. An automated email with tracking details will be sent.
Larger items such as amplifiers and guitars may be shipped via UPS Ground service in the US and UPS World-Wide Expedited service for international orders. An automated email with tracking information will be sent to the recipient.

If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase you may return it for a full refund of the original purchase price. We offer a 60-day return policy on all pedals. We ask that you please return the product in the original product packaging along with all included materials (manual, warranty card, all accessories) and in the original condition that it was received. Pedals returned in undesirable condition (scratched, nicked, or modified) may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 25% of the purchase price. We must receive the product within 60 days of you receiving it. All guitar and amplifier purchases must be returned within 15 days of receiving the unit with all original packaging and materials.
Please pack carefully. Do not attach a label to manufacturer’s box. Use a shipping box for packing your return. You may choose any shipping service you like to return the package to us. We strongly recommend some sort of tracking or delivery confirmation and insurance. Lost packages happen; this will help protect you from loss.
