The Electro Harmonix Bass Metaphors is an all in one pedal for your bass guitar. Whether you’re in the studio or live onstage, the Electro Harmonix has developed a sort of tool box for your tone. The Bass Metaphors features a bass specific EQ section to help dial in for any situation as well as a smooth compressor for added sustain and dynamics. The distortion circuit is footswitchable allowing you to use it or lose it at your discretion. EHX has seen fit to give this pedal both ¼” and XLR outputs for either running directly into an amplifier or straight into the board, or both. There is also a dedicated dry output to send to anything you want as well as a Dry knob to blend the original signal with the effected signal.
