I run this pedal through the effects loop of my Bogner and it is SILENT. Since I am more attracted to boutique pedals I was somewhat worried that the large amount of delay types offered here might be marketing hype, but the pedal's tonal quality and flexibility really impressed me. The plethora of delay types are useful and musical. If you are a boutique snob, don't let the mega pedal producer brand name scare you away. What a blessing it is to have presets! Isn't it a drag having to bend down between songs to change settings on an analog or single sound delay pedal? This is a powerful tool that has my vintage, analog delay out of my signal path!

There are several types of delay effects. I'll start with the less useful to me: the reverse is a typical reverse delay derived from DD-6. The Warp is a common delay when holding the pedal ON / OFF it overlays the sounds, mixing everything and making a sound and space and crazy like that! And the Twist, delay common to hold the pedal ON / OFF it accelerates the speed and pitch of sound, creating a crazy sound, like a motorcycle that slows down when taking your foot off the pedal. Has the SOS, which is a looper to "only" 23 / 2 (detail, this is the time delay pedal that can generate, I found an exaggeration ...). Also the Dual, a long delay with a short (type slapback) has time control of the two, but I did not like that sound .... not much Now for the sounds that I use most: a delay Standart, normal (use for solar), the analog delay, which is a model of the famous Boss DM-2, I consider the most wonderful tone of the pedal, with the nuances allAll a delay of analog "bucket-brigade"

This delay pedal is awesome for more straight forward delay sounds. It can't be beat for rhythmic delays, and an incredibly versatile delay. It isn't the most expressive or inspirational pedal out there now, but for functionality and performance, it can't be beaten.

Great delay pedal with all the sounds and options you'd ever want. Tough and durable construction that could withstand the nuclear holocaust; nothing short of what you'd expect from Boss. If I were limited to one delay pedal on my board it'd be the DD-20 hands down.
