The TC Electronic Nova DelayThe TC Electronic Nova Delay is the ultimate digital delay pedal. Based on the world-renowned TC 2290 Dynamic Digital Delay, the ND-1 brings studio quality effects right to your pedal board. The Nova Delay features 6 different stereo delay types: Delay line, Dynamic, Reverse, Ping-Pong, Pan, and Slap-Back. It also gives you modulation, delay spillover, and audio tap tempo. This is no delay modeling pedal either, TC Electronic is known world-wide for super high quality studio effects and their cutting edge technology is packed into the Nova Delay. Nova Delay ToneNow that we’ve established the Nova Delay as a digital pedal, don’t run away because you prefer analog. The TC Nova Delay is extremely natural sounding and crystal clear. The pedal is super quiet and has a great dynamic range and lots of headroom. You don’t have to worry about any “tin can" type delay, this is the real deal. The delay is warm and smooth with really sweet modulation effects. Probably the coolest feature is the audio tap tempo. You can actually set the tempo by holding down the Tap Tempo button and playing. This allows you to set the tempo to the most important rhythm on-stage, your playing! If you need delay and versatility, the TC Electronic Nova Delay has got you covered. Displaying 1 to 6 (of 6 reviews)

The nova delay is an excellent digital delay with a great variety of features and tone options. As a professional guitarist, i have used this as my main delay unit for some time. Tone wise you have the ability to dial in pristine digital repeats to warm modulated analog sounding repeats. On either setting, the nova keeps the integrity of your playing pristinely intact which in a band setting greatly helps to preserve your guitar tone and keep your sound from getting muddy. The other great features include the multiple subdivisions and delay modes. All of which are useable and open up new possibilities for delay usage. While many reviews I have seen complain about difficulty of use, I find the pedal highly user friendly! The presets can be meticulously crafted to your specifications and switching through them during live sets couldn't be quicker or easier! Overall, I am highly satisfied with the quality, tone, and usability of this delay pedal. I personally find all three of those eleme

I love this pedal. The dotted 8th note/ tap tempo switch is VERY useful. Playing in live situations most of the time, the nova delay was my most important pedal on my board. I'm not a fan of modulation, but I thought it would be a fun thing to play around with. I was disappointed to find that it was very subtle to the point where at 4o clock, you could barely hear it. Great for tremolo picking. Makes you sound like a machine! It would be nice if there were a mini loop pedal on it like the Line 6 delay but it easily beats that pedal. Recommend this one to any guitar player at any level.

Great sounds but design wise - points. Switching between presets and the lack of midi make this a bit useless. But I will say that some of the sounds are great, after all it is TC electronics.

It is a great sounding delay pedal.
there are a lot of cool features packed into this little box.
however the downside about this pedal is programming tempo can be a little bit of a hassle.
In BPM mode, it doesnt always get right to the tempo you want.
for example if you wanted to program in 134 BPM, it might go from 133.9 and straight to 134.2
if you are playing to tracks this can be a problem.
Overall the pedal sounds great, i just wish they would fix some programming glitches

This pedal has more than lived up to any and every expectation I've had for it. For a digital delay, it comes dangerously close to that analog sound. The presets work beautifully for play live as well. Overall, I can honestly say I have not ever regretted buying it. It definitely beats the dl4, dd20, and others in that price range. To sum it all up, pick the nova! You won't be sorry!!
