Newest Version! Fulltone products cannot and will not be shipped outside of The United States. Fulltone GT-500 Overdrive / Distortion PedalThe Fulltone GT-500 is a discrete FET Hi-Gain Distortion and Overdrive Booster in one enclosure. It’s like having two pedals in one, which gives you endless combinations. The Hi-Gain section has Volume and Distortion knobs plus minipots for Bass, Mid and Highs. The Booster side has Volume and Overdrive knobs plus mini-pots for Bass and Highs. Unlike any other pedal, the GT-500 contains 5 FET’s, 2 MOSFETS’s, and 3 transistors. The sound is verry amp-like with tons of sustain, even at low volume. Turn down the guitar’s volume and listen to it clean up! An inductor controlled EQ? The Hi-Gain side has a discrete inductor-driven midrange circuit, which has never been done in a pedal before. An inductor gives the pedal the ability to drastically increase or decrease the entire Low-Mid, Mid, and High-Mid frequencies, just like a wah can! All this is done without any op-amps, which can compress and give a very sterile sound. All pedals come with 100% discrete matched FET's! The Series Select Switch allows you to choose which pedal comes first in the signal chain Choose: Booster--> Distortion or Distortion--> Booster Why does order matter? Clean Boost driving into a Distortion sounds way different than a Distortion followed by the Clean Boost. When you throw the respective EQ's of each pedal into play, you get tonal combinations you’ve only dreamed of!

I've been using the GT 500 for few months now and this thing just keeps getting better with time! The Wah inductor midrange control on the distortion channel is really something else, real nice tones. The Booster/OD channel bass and treble control are real nice and help you get your sound out there in the mix with ease and it sounds so warm and smooth. I have to say that one mighty fine feature is the toggle switch that selects which channel comes first in the signal chain. with it the tonal possibilities are immense and it make the thing so versatile! I mean, it gives me the features I need for the different gigs I do (post-rock, stoner, some church stuff too) without me having to add another drive or booster to my board. I'm a big fan of dual overdrive/distortion units but I have to say, this one takes the prize for both tone and features.
The one reason why I won't give it five stars is that I'd have a bit more grit on tap on the OD channel. either that or the ability to clean th
