Blackout Effectors Twosome Dual FuzzThe Blackout Effectors Twosome Dual Fuzz is a unique blend of circuits from two of Blackout Effectors flagship fuzz pedals in one enclosure. On the left side is the Fix’d fuzz with the addition of external controls for the Fuzz 1 and Fuzz 2 instead of internal trim pots. On the right side is the uber powerful Musket Fuzz circuit capable of tones that can melt your face off. One side of the Blackout Effectors Twosome Dual Fuzz is the Fix'd Fuzz. This circuit features a knob for Boost which allows you to use it as a clean boost push your tube amp into overdrive or to slam into the internal fuzz stages of the pedal yielding those great overdriven fuzz tones without the need for additional pedals. The knobs for Fuzz 1 and Fuzz 2 control each of the individual fuzz circuits and can be used individually or together for a little sonic madness. All 4 stages of the circuit are bypass-able via their respective toggles, meaning you can add/remove from the stack as your black heart desires. The other side of the Blackout Effectors Twosome Dual Fuzz is the Musket. This circuit features one of the most famous fuzz tones in the world with even more muffiness. If you love vintage Big Muffs but you needed something more the Musket fuzz is a dream come true. The new Blackout Effectors Twosome Dual Fuzz is truly a game changer. With this much of Blackout Effectors sweet fuzzy goodness in one pedal, why would you need anything else? Blackout Effectors Twosome Dual Fuzz Features:

If you need fuzz, then you need the Twosome! With the two independent fuzz generators basically slapped together, you can get everything form smooth and creamy to gritty and wonky. The pedal itself is also built to last. It also just plain looks killer in the middle of any pedal board.

The Blackout Effectors Twosome fuzz is out of this world. It can do everything from light fizzy distortion to massive, thick, scooped tones to space-ripping velcro fuzz with ridiculous harmonics. There are so many sounds on tap between the two sides of this pedal. The Musket side is my favorite of the two, and it's become my go-to for thick distorted tones. Having control over the "Mid" knob is where I find the most diversity in this pedal. It allows you to get very scooped sounds on the left end, and thick midrange driven fuzz on the right end of the knob. Almost any combination of knob settings is useable on the Musket side, but there is plenty of room to tweak for the exact tone you're looking for. The Musket side does amazing things for tube amps, and also works surprisingly well going into recording programs such as Garageband or Logic, even without a preamp. The Fix'd Fuzz side lends itself better to lead tones. Depending on how you set the knobs, the Fix'd fuzz can get very sque

The Twosome Fuzz is everything I ever wanted out of a fuzz pedal. I can set one side to a beefy sounding fuzz that is great for rhythm and the other side to a more biting sound that is great for lead work. The demo video made by Andy is a close reproduction of the actual sound you can get out of this fuzz pedal. The Fix'd fuzz can give you some fuzz sounds that break up nicely. The Fix'd can also get pretty gnarly with its sound. You can get sounds reminiscent of The Kinks or early Stones. One the Musket side you can get sounds that are similar to Black Sabbath and more recent bands like The Sword and Baroness. This pedal has versatility.
As with all boutique pedals, this one comes with a heavy price tag. It's worth every penny if you are particular about your sound and plan to play for the rest of your life (or close to it). If you bought the Fix'd fuzz and the Musket fuzz separately then you would pay $175 each. The Twosome is $285. So you save a bit of money by getting the Twoso

Kyle and Company over at Blackout Effectors really raised the bar with the Twosome Dually Fuzz; NO boutique overdrive/fuzz in its class is nearly as tone-expansive, versatile, and capable of such balls (for lack of a better term)!
I'm somewhat of a boutique pedal "whor*" but I can't imagine it getting any better than this!
