the me 70 is overal a nice pedal, but has some disadvantages. let me go thru the single sections:
preamp section:
the clean models are very nice especially thru the return of an valve amp. i like the bassman (tweed) and the ac (combo) the most. the overdriven models sound nice very nice too.
reverb:
the reverb is nice to but the warmth of an true analog unit is missing, but you got many different options with only one knob.
pedal fx:
the wah and voicebox is ok but i don't use this to often.
comp/fx:
the autowah is great for funky licks and the pu simulatiuon works very well and sounds killer.
od/ds:
this is the only section i do not like. all the different types sound to cold and somehow unnatural.
modulation:
the best section imo. i love the clear and pristine sound of the chorus. the uni-v and rotary are very great for nice shimmery clean sounds. only the harmonist and the octaver sound to snth/keyboard-like.
delay:
