Malekko Analog PhaserThe Malekko Analog Phaser packs quite a bit in such a small package. Malekko is know for superior quality effects, and with their Omicron line, they’ve really brought something special to the world of phasers. In a compact housing, this true bypass analog pedal has two external controls. The Color Knob shifts your phasing frequency – turn to the right for more bass response, or the left for to allow less bass to pass through the signal. The Speed Knob gives either quick phasing effects or utter nausea-inducing phase madness. There’s more to the eye with the Malekko Analog Phaser. The internal trim pots, a coarse frequency range selector, allows for even more options. Set to the right allows more high end frequencies to be processed with the phasing, and turned all the way to the left allows the lower frequencies to be passed through the phasing. The Color pot and the internal trim pots allow for unmatched flexibility and phasing versatility, and allow you to set your phasing effect to your own unique needs. The internal trim pots let you run wild with your own ideas of what a phaser was meant to do on your pedal board. The Malekko Analog Phaser is a phantastic phaser for some stellar space exploration, funky rhythm work, or unmentionable and uncharted sonic explorations. Malekko Analog Phaser Features:
Rating:
Great deal for the price. It is also small and fits in a board nicely which is a huge pro for a phaser (how often are you using a phaser anyway?).
Con: When activated, the petal def ads some distortion / drive to signal path. If you are play with a high-gain amp you won't need much, if any, drive to get that "Hotel California" sound.
