Frequency can be controlled via the Frequency knob but can also be used with an expression pedal for real-time control of the oscillator speed. This allows on-the-fly tuning of the ring modulator vs. the dry signal or control of the slower oscillator settings for choppy signal cuts or smooth sine tremolo. The LPF control sets the frequency of the low pass filter for tuning in just the right amount of high end. The Fairfield Circuitry Randy’s Revenge also features a switch for Sine or Square wave (SQ/SI) and Hi or Low speed (Hi/Lo) ranges for the oscillator.
