Fender American Special

The Fender American Special Stratocaster is a modern classic.  It comes with an Alder body and a gloss urethane finish that allows the tonewood to breathe and resonate.  Two classic finishes are available: candy apple red and 2 tone sunburst.  The modern “C” maple neck has a 9.5” radius and 22 jumbo frets  - allowing complete ease for bending those big notes – and a satin back for superior playability.  The neck is highlighted by a larger 70’s style headstock, which exudes a classy, vintage look to set you apart in style and taste.  The pickups are Texas Specials, straight from the Fender Custom Shop.  With pickups named after the Lonestar State, you probably already know what these sound like.  Wide, fat mid range, gorgeous and down and dirty, sparkling and glassy, and just out and out classic in tone, the Fender Texas Specials are alnico V single coils that create the tone that made Stratocasters famous.  Equipped with a modern 5 way switch, the Fender American Special also has Fender’s patented Grease Bucket Circuit, which rolls of the highs without adding bass to the signal.  The tone controls are wired to the neck and bridge, with the middle single coil as wide open as the Texas plains.  Add a vintage-styled tremolo with narrower saddle spacing for superior tone and resonance, and you have a superior Stratocaster at an astounding price.  If you need some more versatility or all-out power in your Stratocaster, the Fender American Special also comes in an HSS configuration, with a Fender Atomic Humbucker in the bridge, and a rosewood neck.  The Fender Atomic Humbucker is a hot, overwound humbucker with a harmonic overtone that allows for crunchy and grinding rhythm work, and singing leads.  Players of all styles of music know the amazing versatility that is available to guitarists with an HSS configured Stratocaster, and the Fender American Special HSS Stratocaster can do it all: blues, classic rock, metal, country.  If you can play it, the American Special Stratocaster HSS will give you the sounds you need to get the job done.  The Fender American Special HSS comes in either black or 3 tone sunburst, with a black pickguard for a custom look that adds some style and grace to an already amazingly versatile instrument.  To round out this amazing new line of Fender guitars, the Fender American Special Telecaster will provide you with vintage looks and tone and the same value as the Stratocasters.  The Fender American Special Telecaster has an alder body with a gloss urethane finish, and comes in either three-tone sunburst, or Olympic white, and both finishes are topped off with a black pickguard and a classic 70’s headstock. The neck is a maple modern “C”, with 22 frets and a 9.5” radius, for superior ability to wring those big wide bends out of the neck.  The pickups are Texas Special single coils, for some truly vintage Tele tone with a fantastic spank and twang.  Classic 3 position switching gives you all the Tele tone you need, along with the Fender patented Grease Bucket tone circuit.  The bridge is all classic Telecaster styling and tone: 3 brass saddle bridge for superior resonance and that classic Tele tone that has graced countless recordings.  The American musician has spoken, and the Fender American Special guitars have arrived to meet the needs of today’s guitarist who demands value and quality in superior USA made instrument.  Fender American Special Guitars – made by the people for the people.
