The latest offering from Fender Custom Shop Guitars is the Masterbuilt Series. Each guitar will be a personal vision of one of the Master Builders. It could be a classic recreation, a souped-up hot rod, or something totally off the wall. The Master Builder oversees the entire project. Each guitar has a limited run of 50 to 75 instruments with 10 of them being built by the Master Builder himself.

Each Fender Custom Shop Masterbuilt guitar comes complete with a special certificate, Master Builder biography, and reproductions of the Master Builder's specs and notes. As an added bonus, a DVD is included featuring interviews with the Master Builder discussing the inspiration and challenges involved with the instrument. All of this collateral is inserted into a deluxe leather binder.
