The EWS FD-1 Fuzzy Drive was designed to give you all the killer fuzz tones you have loved for years in a compact design that uses more stable circuitry so each sounds great unlike many vintage fuzz pedals.
The EWS FD-1 Fuzzy Drive is capable of many different sounds from mild to wild. The Volume and Tone knobs are self explanatory, but the Gain knob is where the magic happens. It allows you to dictate hom much overdrive is added to the fuzz tone to get any combination of the two. The fuzz tones are generated by an Operational Transistor circuit design which give you great fuzz tones that are easy to dial in and are very predictable from pedal to pedal.
