On the American Deluxe Strat HSS, the new switching option is the “passing lane” switch which instantly routes your signal from any pickup position to the bridge pickup with the tone circuit bypassed. All of the Fender American Deluxe Strats have a 2 point synchronized trem with pop in trem arm and locking tuners for unmatched tuning stability. The finishes include Aged Cherry Burst, Tobacco Burst, and Wine Transparent on the Ash Stratocaster, as well as new finishes such as Sunset Metallic and Tungsten for the Alder Stratocasters. The gloss urethane finishes really allow the tonewoods to breathe and highlight the beauty of these classic and modern finishes.
