The G&L ASAT Classic Bluesboy is a revered instrument for county, blues, jazz, and rock players around the world. The combination of the classic boxed (or ashtray) bridge and Magnetic Field Design single coil produces the traditional twang and punch associated with this style of single cut guitar without the “vintage” noise associated with most single coils. The vintage style ashtray bridge is enhanced with six separate brass saddles for increased intonation stability while retaining that classic tone. The neck position is filled with a G&L Alnico V humbucker for big sounding punch and sustain when needed. This particular ASAT Bluesboy features an alder body finished in gorgeous Lake Placid Blue with a #2 hard rock maple neck topped with a rosewood fingerboard.
