The Rockbox Boiling Point features a multiple gain stage overdrive with a switch for a bass boost and a clipping selection.  Asymmetrical mode is open and transparent with lots of gain if you need it but cleaning up nicely when necessary.  This mode is pure tube amp overdrive.  Open and natural the asymmetrical clipping mode is the best representation of true overdriven tube tone we have ever heard.  The Symmetrical mode is warmer with rolled off high end that just screams Plexi.  The mids are punchy and expressive without being overbearing.  Clean boost mode is perfect for slamming some signal into the front of your amp for a transparent boost and natural overdrive from your tubes.  There’s a bit of hair in this mode as well, just in case.  The bass boost feature is perfect for voicing the Rockbox Boiling Point for your single coils as well as your humbuckers.
