With the addition of some choice updates, the Deep Trip Kryptone Fuzz is even better than the original. $219.00 Deep Trip PedalsThe boys at Deep Trip Pedals have come up with a couple of unique features that they include in every pedal. The Mood knob on each pedal is an actual transistor bias control. 12 o’clock has the transistors biased correctly at 4.5 volts yielding warm, harmonically rich fuzz. From there you can decrease the bias voltage for a more saggy tone all the way to starved sputter. Increasing the bias brings out quicker attack and high end, taking the fuzz into overdrive and distortion characteristics. Each Deep Trip Pedal also features a Voice switch with three settings. These settings adjust the gain and frequency response of the fuzz from fat and gainy to bright and cutting to flat and sweet. The most unique feature of all Deep Trip Pedals is the Mode switch. This switch alters the voicing of the pedal; in the up position the vintage vibe is in full effect with a fatter tone and slower response just like vintage fuzz. The down position yields a brighter, better defined tone but that’s not all. With the Mode switch down, there is a high impedance buffer added to the input of the pedal so you can use it with any wah pedal. No more searching through piles of fuzzes and modding your wah pedal.
