Tortuga does this by using the optical sensor assigned to vibe channel II as a invisible expression pedal. The sensor changes the rate of the effect based upon how much light is allowed to enter it. Take your foot away and give the Neptune Opto-Vibe more light and the rate speeds up, hover your foot over the sensor and the rate slows down. Brilliant! With a little practice, you could have a whole new sound that will blow your unsuspecting guitar buddies away.

The Tortuga Effects Neptune Opto-Vibe has two separate channels as well that can be switched on the fly via footswitch.
