The K-Line Truxton Special is an homage to a classic American solid body electric guitar with an alternate pickup and hardware setup for a different look and tone. Starting with the classic single cut body, the Truxton Special has eschewed the “ashtray” bridge for a six-saddle, string-through-body Hipshot bridge that allows great resonance and accurate intonation. The classic twang has been replaced by a pair of Lollar 50’s wind P-90’s that are gritty and punchy with extended midrange and lot’s of bite. This allows the K-Line Truxton Special to further expand its tonal range to blues, rock, and jazz with ease while still retaining some of the twang of its forebears. Like all K-Line guitars, the Truxton Special has a painstakingly crafted neck shaped into a medium “U” and rolled fretboard edges to give a worn in feel to the superb fretwork. The body and neck are both finished in an ultra-thin nitrocellulose lacquer that has been allowed to set into the grain for unparalleled resonance from the wood. The K-Line Truxton Special may look like a vintage instrument, but the refined characteristics of this guitar are geared toward the modern player looking for tone and functionality.

The VFE Enterprise is a classic-voiced 4-stage phaser pedal with enough extras to cover a lot of ground. The VFE Enterprise features a Stage switch that allowAs the user to switch between 2, 3, and 4 stage phasing and can go from vintage Phase 45 to thick, juicy 4-stage phasing. In addition the Mode switch allows for setting the VFE Enterprise between Phase and Vibe, the Vibe setting offering non-uniform phase shifting for a more mellow effect. The unique aspect of this pedal is the Feedback knob. Unlike others, 12 o’clock is no feedback, counterclockwise produces positive feedback while clockwise produces negative feedback for maximum versatility. The VFE Enterprise also features an internal trimmer for gain matching. This is a perfect pedal for those seeking classic phase tones with the flexibility of modern options.

The JHS Charlie Brown channel drive provides all of the classic JTM tone without having to lug a 4x12 cabinet to the gig. The Charlie Brown has all of the warmth and robust character of this classic amplifier without any of the soreness after your load out. The versatility of this pedal is immense; take your tone from a low gain growling overdrive with the gain control under the mid-point to all out crunchy high-gain with singing sustain at full tilt. The presence control allows for the ultimate tone pairing with any amplifier, adding shimmer to a dark sounding amp. With all the versatility and headroom the JHS Charlie Brown offers, this overdrive will kick Lucy in the face before she swipes the ball.

Beginning with the most copied overdrive circuit in history, the VFE Pale Horse was supposed to improve upon this classic by addressing the most prevalent issues. In the process the VFE Pale Horse became an effect unto itself transforming into a unique and versatile overdrive pedal that is perfect for any situation. Starting with the most common issue with the TS overdrives, the VFE Pale Horse gives a full frequency response that doesn’t cut low and high end in favor of a hot midrange. Instead the overdrive is pure and transparent and with the addition of Low and High Cut controls, the tone can be adjusted any way desired, even to the classic midrange “hump” for cutting leads. Along with this, the VFE Pale Horse offers three clipping options to choose from to really specify the sound desired. The Asymmetric is amp-like and smooth, the LED clipping is more modern sounding, and the MosFET clipping yields lush saturation. In addition to this, the VFE Pale Horse features two internal controls, one for impedance, to match the input impedance to the amp used, and one to set the cutoff frequency of the Tone control. Like all VFE pedals the VFE Pale Horse features true-bypass relay switching, a rugged enclosure, and uses 1% metal film resistors, Cardas solder, and Carling switches.

The Wren and Cuff Tall Font Russian Fuzz is the result of a long quest to deliver the vintage tone of the Tall Font Muff to the modern market. After an email conversation with a friend in a very successful band regarding his preference for the S****k version Muff, the quest was on to re-create this classic fuzz tone. After comparing several vintage units, Wren and Cuff made some important discoveries regarding the gain values of the transistors and the inconsistency of the actual value vs. stated value of the pots in the vintage units. Utilizing the knowledge gained from this research, the Wren and Cuff Tall Font Russian Fuzz was born.

The JHS Banana Boost is not just another boost pedal. This little guy adds versatility to the common boost pedal that leaves most behind. The JHS Banana Boost features two different boosts in one pedal, a MOSFET boost and a treble boost that can be blended together or used independently via a Blend knob. This unique design allows for unmatched versatility in a boost pedal. The MOSFET boost is big and bold, perfect for pushing your amp into thick overdrive while the treble booster is sparkly and chimey and will add the perfect amount of top end to either brighten up humbuckers or add some raspy edge to an already overdriven amp for those vintage rock tones. The JHS Banana Boost is a perfect tool for today’s guitarist seeking versatility and tone.

Driven by the conundrum of the inspired tone of the 122 Leslie cabinet and the logistics of lugging one to a live gig as well as the shortcomings of modern Leslie effects, Guido spent countless hours programming the Ventilator’s algorithm and A/Bing it with an original 122 to result in one of the most accurate sounding rotary speaker simulators on the market. The Neo Instruments Ventilator features more computing power than most entire digital organs. The stompbox size effect is the perfect solution for the gigging musician or small studio without the real estate for an actual Leslie.
